Within the luxury real estate market, TFT, owned by Tancredi Filippo Trifirò, is one of the leading names. A company that was created approximately 15 years ago and that over time has become well established, TFT is a successful name that together with strong advertising, was built on word of mouth passed on by satisfied customers. This is Trancredi Trifirò’s distinguishing feature: focusing on the human aspects of his profession.
Trifirò is a young forty-year old professional, elegant and gracious. As soon as the interview begins, he immediately states he does not like formalities and adds: " I was lucky, I love what I do and I love homes, the most important purchase a person can make".
The signs of this passion are perceivable everywhere, in his office where there is a beautiful print of "old Rome" hanging on the walls, models of homes scattered through the office. He spends his free time looking through every possible real estate magazine and journal and travelling during the week-ends to find the "ideal home”; he remarks: "…now I have slowed down somewhat to find more time for myself, but nonetheless I am a "street man" who loves to work outdoors and in close contact with people’s individual problems."
I began approximately fifteen years ago. I inherited my father’s passion: he used to buy homes, renovate them and then resell them. At the age of 24 I decided to pursue this path and in only a few years I founded TFT. My passion for "beautiful homes" allowed me to encounter my partner: Paola Tini Zaccardi, an elegant and refined lady who already since 1980 worked with a vast and sophisticated clientele. Together we expanded our field of activity while still maintaining our interest in "pampering" our clients and living "their homes" as if they were "our homes". Today, we deal with fine property throughout Italy and abroad."
I have always based everything on a code of ethics, even before focusing on the commercial aspect and this has repaid me. I have been rewarded by people that I have met and that always opened new paths for me. My line of conduct is to identify with the people I am dealing with, trying to understand their needs and concentrating on human and personal aspects, always considering that what still count are the simple values in today’s difficult world. For this reason we have chosen to maintain our identity without creating a network or agencies so as not to loose the human contact with our clients, managing everything ourselves from A to Z.
Our company’s offices are located in Rome. We are a group of twelve professionals that work based on the principles I have shared with them. We principally operate in central Italy and in Rome, but also have correspondents throughout the country and abroad. In Italy, we have made a name for ourselves through our advertising campaigns and thanks to our customer’s satisfaction. With regard to our offer, we have approximately 250 properties that we directly manage. We only deal in luxury and fine real estate: homes, villas, commercial buildings and hotels for a high level demanding clientele. For "luxury property" we mean all fine property that has something extra: exceptional architecture, outstanding views or particular locations. The old saying, "that to each his own" clearly holds true: the terms of comparison can be quite different among people, for example, for a European, even a small apartment in the historical center with a particular characteristic can be a luxury apartment, while the point of reference for an American is often a million dollar villa". It is a question of lifestyles. Our activity also uses services provided by Internet. We have a website that we are expanding to keep up with the changes imposed by globalization and the New Economy.
Through a network of contacts established with leading real estate agencies with whom we have a mutual exchange of clients. All this has contributed to expanding our consumer target interested in buying property in Italy. Our foreign customers are culturally accustomed to long-distance market searches using the group of advisors we use. Foreign buyers are usually well-established professionally, at the peak of their careers, willing to branch out into new directions, in search of a villa immersed in the lush green countryside, or of a home that is part of the magical atmosphere of an art city. The foreign buyer can also be a person that travels for business and needs a high-level residence. Presently, we manage the sale of property in Kenya, Barbados and in the Island of Cavallò, nonetheless, we are also highly specialized in our country that we know perfectly.
I’m not sure, perhaps the one I recall with the greatest satisfaction is the transaction for the residence I found for Architect Franco Pesci and Mrs. Virna Lisi, for which I was highly complimented from both sides.
If a home is well designed I am fascinated by it, even 50 square meters in a beautiful building with a magnificent view or surrounded by green can be defined as high quality property. A home is also a safe investment for the future, but not only, it is where one treasures the people and things one loves. This means a lot in a world that focuses increasingly on consumerism and superficiality.
